New Glasses: Opinions Wanted!

I have narrowed down many frame choices to four. Criteria were: coolness, had to be full frame (I don’t live in a way that can take half-rims), and, uh,coolness. I would now like opinions:

What do you think? Comment here, send email to divalea @ gmail.com, or Tweet me @DivaLea

    I like the purple/green/blue ones!

LOVE option no 2….I want those

  3. Tammy Lee

I like the first pair the best! The colours will go with most anything and the cutout leaves are sweet.

Honestly, I’d go with either 1 or 4, simply because with 1, black and white go with everything, and with 4, simplicity is best. Without actually seeing the other two on you, with your face shape and skin tone, I’d be afraid to choose something with either pink or purple showing.

Anyhow, that’s what I think. Nice shapes, btw! (and if they were for me, I’d pick 4)

I like the style of the purple ones best, with the little Art Nouveau vines. #2 choice would be the black-and-red pair… always a good color combination.

The one at the bottom, with a wire frame.

I like the bottom two, even looked into getting the black/red ones myself, but they aren’t big enough to hold trifocals/progressives, and that’s what I have to have. So you can rock the divaness for me.

yay for zennioptical! i’m still awaiting my first pair from them.

i’d say go with the 1st two, leaning more toward the purple and green ones.
way nifty. you’ll awesome in these!

Where do you find such an awesome set of selections? I sure didn’t see anything half as nifty last time I went glasses shopping! I’d go purple/green/blue ones or red/black.
And while I’m commenting - I meant to tell you ages ago that I loved those great pics of the full moon you posted awhile back (like a month or two ago now).

I found the frames at Zennioptical.com, Lisa Jonte sent me the link, ’cause she found the site when she was shopping!

Glad you enjoyed the moon pics!

The purple and green are walking away with it. I was going to get progressive (lineless bifocals, but then read about how I’d have to get big frames for them to work well, and took a pass. The 80’s and big glasses are over!

I’m going to have them with a photochromic coating (get darker in sunlight), too, so I don’t have to futz with clip-on shades any more.

I have progressive lenses, and my frames are very similar to the last pair (the wire frames). You don’t need large lenses to get good progressive lenses, believe me. I could never wear regular bifocals - the line drives me nuts. I’ve been wearing progressives since 1998, and I’ve worked with two different optometrists, and they both told me smaller lenses were perfectly fine - and they are.
