TEAM COMICS: Karen Ellis (Planet Karen) is Now a Fire Survivior. Please Help
Just got email from Rachel Edidin letting people know that webcomicker Karen Ellis of Planet Karen has lost pretty much everything in a house fire. Her upstairs neighbor was killed, and Karen’s apartment is currently uninhabitable. As you might expect, I am sitting here typing this with big impossible tears having their way with my face.
Just as you helped me, and Carla Hoffman, and the AU Victorians, I’m asking yet again for you to send a little somethin’ somethin’ to Karen. $5. will help. $1. will help. Send what you can, and don’t feel bad if it’s small. Lots of little loves will save the day.
Click here to go to Karen’s webpage and hit that donation button! (link will open in a new window)

ETA: Summer donated two allowances to Karen, which got me crying all over again, because I done raised that girl right, and I’m so proud of her.

Bless you, Lea. Karen is one of the best, brightest webcomics artist/writers going. I was scheduled to write the intro to her first print collection, in fact, because I’m such a fan.
PLEASE help, people. She is actually homeless. She needs help RIGHT GODDAMN NOW.
Thank you. Thank you SO MUCH. This is the way to heaven, I’m telling you!

No thanks necessary, but most welcome. I couldn’t not help, you know?
